How Does Pediatric First Response Work?

These requirements include a physician's recommendation that the program meets certain criteria and demonstrates significant commitment to pediatric health care. According to the AAP, all 50 states and the District of Columbia offer PFR for children as young as 6 months old. However, only a handful of states require healthcare workers to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation and provide advanced care to infants in their facilities or homes.
